_Hotel information about the Castle

_The cosy Lounge Bar offers a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a quiet drink
_before Dinner with a good selection of beers and an even finer selection
_of malt whiskies. The bar which is at the front of the hotel is tastefully
_decorated with images of Downham through the years. The bar is open
_to residents and non-residents serving real ales and fabulous bar
_snacks.

_Our restaurant offers a choice of food from either our Table d'hote or A
_la Carte menus. We also can cater for dinner parties, functions for up
_to 60 people. The Restaurant is fully air conditioned. The hotel has also
_won awards from the RAC over the last few years for the high standard
_of food and service provided.

_The hotel has eleven letting bedrooms all with en suite facilities. This
_accommodation comprises of two four poster rooms both with a jacuzzi
_bath, four double bedded rooms, three twin bedded rooms, one family
_room with three beds but the capacity to take an extra bed and one
_single bedded room.
